Welcome to the Gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains!Sierra Bravo is tucked into a quiet neighborhood within the Arts &amp; Crafts District Loop with very little traffic. You will enjoy the proximity to busy downtown but find the hidden treasure of staying on the peaceful side of Gatlinburg with excellent shopping from local artists. There is enough parking space for 2 vehicles. 

Our driveway is steep which is not uncommon for the area but we don't like surprises! Most of our guests drive right up to the parking pad and some choose to park at the end of the driveway - it all depends on their comfort level. XL vehicles may have some difficulty turning around to head back down. If you park at the end of the driveway (it’s not long) and walk up the incline, we’ve left a utility cart beside the cabin to assist you with your gear. If it is winter, we recommend a 4WD vehicle for driving in the Smokies no matter where you're staying.

Please do not block our neighbors' driveways or the fire hydrant.

A $250 security (damage) deposit is collected 1 day before Check-In Date and withheld from final payment. Refund of deposit will be handled as follows: 
 
The deposit is for security and shall be refunded within 7 days of the Check-out date provided no deductions are made due to: 
 
1. Damage to the property or furnishings or any cost incurred by Owner due to Guest’s stay 
2. Exceeding maximum occupancy 
3. Excessive dirt or other mess requiring extra cleaning 
4. Bringing in a pet that will incur an additional $250 cleaning fee 
5. Smoking in the cabin that will incur an additional $250 cleaning fee 
6. Damaging the hot tub cover that will incur a $400 fee for replacement 
7. Or violating any rules in the rental agreement 
8. Any damages exceeding the security deposit and/or are not covered by Guest’s insurance, will be paid by Guest.

You will have a personal door code for a keypad on the front door.

While the cabin is not child-proofed, we think you'll find it is definitely suited for families. We've designed the space with our our own family in mind and our kids love it! Be sure to check out our digital guidebook for more information on safe rental essentials in the area for babies. It's a fantastic way to travel light with children. We do provide kid-friendly plates and utensils along with a high chair and several family games.

This is our home away from home but please contact us with any questions or needs you may have during your stay.

Sierra Bravo is lower on the mountain and an easy drive just a bit off the convenient main parkway. 

The maximum number of guests is limited to 6 persons including children over the age of 1.

A charcoal grill is ready for you - just bring the charcoal! Enjoy relaxing in the 4 person hot tub during the evenings by the glow of the patio lights.

Bringing a pet into the cabin will result in a $250 extra cleaning fee.

Smoking in the cabin will result in a $250 extra cleaning fee.

Sierra Bravo Cabin premises is equipped with an exterior surveillance camera for security reasons. It is integrated into the driveway flood lights. The camera will not capture any images of the interior of the cabin or the hot tub area. It is only for surveillance of the cabin driveway.

I was born and raised in the city of Chicago - Sox fan not Cubs! After graduating from Purdue, I moved south to Memphis, TN. 
 
After earning my degree in meteorology, I became a licensed aircraft dispatcher. I was always fascinated by aviation and weather. Now I'm fortunate enough to work in the airline industry with a job that I love. 
 
I live just outside Memphis with my wife, Kelli, our two teenage sons. 
 
We love to vacation with our boys especially to our little cabin in the Smoky Mountains. While we love a good vacation, we are also homebodies. We enjoy a night in with popcorn and a movie as a family and can often be found hanging around our table with a great playlist, good food, and friends. 
 
We aim to make our place feel like your home and to help you make lasting memories with your family. Please know that we're always just a phone call or text away. We look forward to hosting you!
